Welcome

1. Why Are We Here?

The Bible, Gods Spiritual Map for us, explains that He made everything. “In the beginning, God created the heaven and the earth.” This is the first sentence in His Word to us.

The Bible explains that God is not a force nor is He in everything He created. He is a person. He thinks, acts, and feels. And God created us to have a close relationship with him. People may believe there are other gods, but the Bible teaches there is only one God.

After God had created all things, He said everything was “very good” because God is perfectly good and completely Holy.

Maybe you have wondered why the Bible uses the words Father, Jesus, and Spirit for God? To understand why, let’s learn about the nature of God.

The Bible writes ”…there are three…in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.” This teaches us that there is one God and He is triune, as the three in one.

To understand this, we can see how He created us as three in one; we think, we have a body, and we have a spiritual existence.

2. Why Is There So Much Trouble in the World?

Before the first man and woman, God created a very special angel, named Lucifer. Lucifer rebelled against God and He cast him out of Heaven.

The Bible writes ”…fallen from heaven, O Lucifer for thou said I will exalt my throne above God...” Now, Lucifer is known as Satan, or The Devil. Satan seeks worship and deceives through false religions.

The Bible says that the devil, who deceives so many, will be “...cast into the lake of fire…and shall be tormented…for ever and ever.” This teaches that Hell will be Lucifer’s place forever when God judges all sin.

God is perfect and Holy and His nature requires everything to be resolved morally right. God cannot lie or do anything unjust.

3. Why do We have Problems?

The Bible writes “…God created man in His own image… male and female created he them.” The first man and woman were created perfect having peace, love and joy with God and with each other.

They had freedom to love and obey God, but they were also free to disobey God, knowing the result would be death and judgment. Lucifer tempted them and they disobeyed God.

Sin entered into the world and corrupted everything. So anyone born from them would be a sinner. This is why we sin and are separated from God. This is why we see so much evil in the world today.

4. Who Can Help Me?

As soon as the first man and woman sinned, God said He would send a Savior to provide a way back to Him. God gave over 300 prophecies to help recognize the Savior. Then He gave us His Laws, the Ten Commandments, so we would know we need a Saviour.

Some of them are ... Thou shalt have no other gods before me. Thou shalt not make any graven image. Thou shalt not take the name of God in vain. Thou shalt not kill. Thou shalt not commit adultery - lust is adultery. Thou shalt not steal. Thou shalt not bear false witness - to lie.
No one can keep the Ten Commandments. We all break God’s laws and are guilty of wrong doing. We all will be judged for our sins. The Bible says, the whole world is guilty before God.

5. Who Is The Savior?

God loves us so much that He, Himself came to save us! The Bible writes that Jesus lived a sinless life and did many miracles to prove He is God. Jesus spoke to a man that had died, “…Lazarus, come forth…and He that was dead came forth.”
Jesus said He is the way; not one of several ways, not to teach the way but the way. Jesus said, ”I am the resurrection, and the life... “ and “whosoever believeth in me shall never die.” Jesus said “…I give…eternal life; and they shall never perish…” and He said “…what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?” Jesus told a man his “... sins are forgiven.” Only God can forgive sins. And the Bible writes that “God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish, but have ever-lasting life.”

Once Jesus fulfilled all prophecies, He went to the cross to pay for the sins of everyone because of His love for you and me. After suffering in our place, Jesus let His life go willingly, in our place and for us.

6. Why Did Jesus Die On The Cross?

God is perfectly good and completely holy. His nature requires justice therefore only someone without sin could pay for the sins of every person. Because of His love for us, even though we are guilty sinners, He came to make a way back to Him. We break God’s Laws, but Jesus paid the penalty for us in His life’s blood.

7. The Resurrection?

The Bible says, “Christ died for our sins…He was buried…and He rose again the third day…” proving He has power over death and can give life. Jesus instructed His disciples to go into all the world and tell the Good News of Salvation and that He would return for all who believe. His disciples left everything and went around the world because they saw Him alive.

8. Can We Earn Salvation?

The Bible says we are “...saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: not of works...” No church, or religion, or good works or religious works can save us. Only Jesus gave His life for us, in our place, and only He can save us.

9. Judgement Is Coming?

God offers mercy through Jesus Christ before the Day of Judgement. We are guilty sinners. But the penalty has been paid. That means that God offers you a pardon and He can dismiss the charges against you if you surrender your life to Him and trust Jesus Christ alone to save you.

The Bible says “He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.” Those who refuse God’s pardon will have to pay the penalty themselves in Hell; in the lake of fire.

10. Believe

Bible, God’s Spiritual Map, was written that we “…might have life through His name.” The Bible says, “Whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” You must ask Jesus Christ to forgive your sins, give your life to Him and trust Him alone to save you.
Then God promises you real life now and perfect peace, love, and joy with Him forever.
Would you give your life to Him today? Would you make this decision now and give your life to Jesus Christ?

Believe and Ask
If so, here is a suggested prayer; but it must be words that come from your sincere desire to make this decision…this is between you and God.
If you choose to trust and believe, then pray...

Dear Lord Jesus, I believe you died on the cross for all my sins because of your love for me. I believe you rose alive from the grave. I ask you to forgive me of all my sins. I now choose to trust only you with my life. I surrender my life to you.
I accept the promise of eternal life with you. Thank you for forgiving all my sins forever. Help me now as I belong to you. Thank you for answering my prayer of faith in you.

If you sincerely prayed that prayer – Congratulations and God bless you! If you just trusted Christ as Savior, this is just the beginning of a wonderful new life...real life...of significance, purpose, and happiness.
